I recommend that you take a pregnancy specific supplement during your pregnancy that contains Iron and Folic Acid, such as Blackmore’s Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Gold, In-natal, Elevit with Iodine, Pregnacare or Swisse.
Raspberry Leaf (rubus idaeus) is often recommended as a herbal aid to timely, shorter and easier labours, often consumed in the form of tea. The evidence regarding the effectiveness of raspberry leaf is not convincing, however it does appear to have a good safety profile. Refer to this article.
I also recommend you have a healthy diet and do regular, light exercise during the pregnancy. I shall provide you with a booklet that gives you details about foods to choose and foods to avoid in pregnancy.
