Dr Rahul Sen (BA, MB BS, FRANZCOG, DTM&H (Lond), Grad Dip Ec., MIPH) is an Obstetrician in Sydney, Australia.
Dr Sen has lived in Australia for over 30 years, emigrating from from the UK in 1984.
He began his medical training at the University of Sydney, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and The Canberra Hospital. His main obstetrics training was completed at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick Sydney. His advanced training in obstetrics was at the Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital in London, gaining further consultant experience in his speciality of gestational diabetes and high-risk obstetrics, before returning to practice as a specialist obstetrician in Sydney.
Dr Sen is an experienced obstetrician in both uncomplicated and high-risk obstetrics, as well as the care of pregnant women with medical disorders, such as diabetes and recurrent miscarriage. He is a teacher and and lecturer on maternal resuscitation, as part of the Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma (MOET) course that he helped to establish in Australia in 2009. Dr Sen has continued involved in the training, supervision and examination of junior doctors.
